Protecting nature

Postby NatureTTL » 10 Jan 2010, 22:35

During our last inter-tidal outing at Sentosa, our Treasurer have put aside his expensive photographic equipment way behind him and confronted a man who was there with his grandson netting some crabs. According to YiXiong, the man agreed to release his catch but as the night gets darker no one knows what happened, hopefully, he did release those crabs.

Hope that this young boy will know to save the marine lives then. (We are still adopting the educational approach for the public.)
Thanks.

:o unbelievable mindset. I really feel :( for those poor crabbies.

should have asked the man to release there and then. With nightfall, I doubt he'll comply.

Actually the old man was a very bad example, he taught his grandson to catch the crabs there too.
I had to stop the boy on one occasion.
