Happy Lunar New Year to all. First time posting in this npss new webby.
May i know is there any alternative to Wimberley Macro Flash Bracket? I find Wimberley brackets too expensive for its usage.January 26, 2009 at 11:15 am #281264Fang, Sher ChyetMember
I have not seen any good substitute the the flash bracket from Wimberley. Yes, I agree that the price is steep, but it is almost like a lifetime purchase, I had one that broke down recently, and Wimberley exchanged it for free locally at Cathay, and the broken bracket was already 3 or 4 years old which I bought from the US.

you can try to adapt a straight bracket to become a macro off-hotshoe arm but its much less flexible than the Wimberley. For the value it provides, I don’t find wimberley macro bracket expensive. And the 3 year warranty is also
exceptional.January 26, 2009 at 4:46 pm #281276StevenGMember
