    In conjunction with the Earth Hour on March 28, there will be a Multimedia Presentation of ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, presented by Tony Boatman from The Climate Project at Botanic Garden.

    Here are the details:

    Date: 28th March 2009
    Time: 2:30pm
    Venue: Botanic Gardens (Function Hall: Botany Centre)

    In additions, there will be a candlelight picnic in the evening at Esplanade:

    Green Carnival & ‘Blackout’

    Bring your picnic rug and food basket to enjoy a simple and fun time, as we witness the first ever blackout of buildings in Singapore!

    Time: 5:00pm-9:30pm
    Venue: Esplanade Park

    Programme:
    5:00pm: Exhibition of green initiatives and technologies by organizations, schools, and NGOs
    7:00pm: Performances
    8:00pm: Opening ceremony, and countdown to Earth Hour
    8:30pm: Blackout!
    *Performances by Gold 90.5FM DJs alongside several local performing artistes and Picnic during 1 hour of blackout*
    9:30pm: Lights on! Closing speech.
