I am looking to buy a external battery pack for my flash.
Saw at Eastgear the Sony External Flash Battery Pack (FA-EB1AM) at US$46.92 .
Is this good enough?
Thanks in advance.September 25, 2009 at 3:11 pm #302021Fang, Sher ChyetMember
I have Canon Battery pack for my flash. To be honest, it is sitting pretty and collecting dust now. With or without the battery pack, the flash can no keep up with the frame rate of our camera, even if it is 3fps, unless you switch to manual flash (which I am doing now) and I don’t even need the battery pack. If you want I can loan mine to you for a try.

Thanks, love to loan it and try it out.
I see many birders using it and of course I thought it can keep up with
our cam’s machine gun mode.
Luenny did call me and told me about using manual mode, guess I’ll be trying that out tomorrow.

If you guys want, can try my CP-E3 and CP-E2. Both were used for my macrophotography.
