Saw these fishes jumping out of the water continously at SBWR. Many of them doing this. thought they were predators near-by to frighten them, but can’t seem to see any.
Any idea what they are doing? practicing high-jump????March 20, 2009 at 8:14 pm #285003sleepycatMember
were they trying to catch flying insects?March 21, 2009 at 2:46 pm #285015LuennyMember
Could be predator under the water surface too. During my fishing days, jumps like this usually cause us to cast to the spot because it usually means big fish nearby.March 22, 2009 at 4:42 am #285021NatureTTLMember
