    Trying out the panning the 1st time

    Exposure: 0.1 sec (1/10)

    Exposure: 0.025 sec (1/40)

    Wonder if I did it correctly….

    These are pretty good tries. There are 2 modes of panning. The first is to freeze the subject in motion and the second is to try and freeze the subject but have a "moving" background which is what you are getting now. Mode 2 is the tougher one and I do try out at such panning at times but have not been really successful.

    I would reccomend that you try panning with a faster shutter speed and try to freeze the subject first. Once you have mastered fast shutter speed panning, you can then go on to lowering the shutter speed to get the blurred backgrounds.
