Today the macro guys were at Venus Drive. I was at Tampinese helping to shoot my friend’s fish.
Here’s a few of them.

the angel fish head-on looks quite "arrogant" with the upturned lips.
Like the arowana tesselated scales though a ring flash might give this one more even lighting? Is it possible to use flash thru the glass?
Thanks for sharing!November 30, 2008 at 6:23 am #276594LuennyMember
Since when your name is Zoids?? Anyway, #1 would be better if the bottom fins are not cropped off. Very sharp and clear. The aro shots lighting can be brighter a bit.November 30, 2008 at 1:42 pm #276607
Owner of the fish is Zoids aka Roy.
I use 3 flashes on top of the tank.
Tank is 5 ft long, all black with just a 2 feet tank light.
So tank is very dark and 3 flashes is not quite enough.
The Arowana is 2 ft long, wish I could have 2 more flash in front.
The Altum Angels are wild caught and are the most majestic of all angels,
so they have a right to be arrogant. heheheDecember 1, 2008 at 3:10 am #276658Fang, Sher ChyetMember
The Golden scale of the Arowana is very nice.
