Just bought DIY plamp from Daiso. Damn cheap $2 each item.
Now to figure out what is the best way to secure the wire to the clamp.
Was thinking of using thin wire to tie the wire to the clamp or glue it.

Last time I try something like this, I ended up scaring a lot of subjects away because the wire is too hard to position. I hope you have better luck than this.March 12, 2009 at 8:20 am #284299
The wire is not too stiff, but the clip is a bit big and stiff.
Hope it can work out, times are bad must save some $$$March 12, 2009 at 10:32 am #284303Fang, Sher ChyetMember
I used to do something similar, but like Wei Luen, my wire was too stiff and end up decided to get the real thing.
As to how to secure the wire to the clip, the one DIY by me, I used cable tie (2X at each side) and wrap it with masking tape, I rekcon if you can find heat shrink tube that large enough to slot in, it will look more professional . It worked ok for me, but as I said the wire I had was not flexible to be used as a plamp.

Thanks for your feed back. I have decided to use a thin wire to tie the wire to the clip and then wrap it with plastic tape. I couldn’t find the heat shrink plastic.
Will try it out this weekend let you guys know how is it.
