anyone can advice on which Nikon flash cord (sc-28 or sc-29) is better? any difference?

For nature photography, SC28 is good enough.
The difference between both is SC29 has built-in AF-Assist Illuminator, which most of us wouldn’t be using it.

Yes, SC-28 is good enough.
Also note that if you are using the Wimberley flash bracket for your telephoto lens, SC-29 is not compatible with the M3 module, you need to buy an additional FA-11 adapter.September 2, 2009 at 1:19 am #299272

HB is right.
I’m using SC-29 bought before I got interest to Birds.
Have to buy extra thing to fit it to my WFB.September 3, 2009 at 4:46 pm #299513
thanks rey…. i made the mistake of ordering the FA11 when i ordered the flash bracket…
(before i started this thread— how silly, buy then ask ) now the FA11 is on the way…
wondering if i should just buy the SC-29 or save some money by buying the SC-28…. ha ha
