Need some advice on use of the Wimberly sidekick with my canon 300mm f2.8.
I have a Gitzo 3540LS and the RRS BH55 so not keen to spend more $$ on the Wimberly head if I dont need to.Also not likely to upgrade to a 500mm/600mm in the foreseeable future.Understand that the sideways attachment of the Sidekick can be awkward.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Loong Tat,
Sidekick for 300mm f/2.8 is definitely enough. You have one of the best ball heads available today plus the Gitzo tripod, you are all set. Hope to see your photo here soon.

Thanks for the quick reply Will go ahead and get the Sidekick and relevant flash brackets etc.
Yes I do seem to have the equipment but really looking for a mentor so that I can learn the ropes right from the start.
Looking forward to meeting you(and the other NPSS members) soon.
